RINGING TIMES

Ringing at Rochester Cathedral usually takes place at the following times:

Sunday Service: 8:45am - 9:45am

Practice Night: Thursday 7:30pm - 9:15pm

All welcome!

Occasionally, the bells are also rung for other services or events.

If you do not ring, but would like to visit the tower, it is sometimes possible to arrange a visit to coincide with the  Ringing Practice on a Thursday evening. Please contact us for further details. Details of how to contact us are in the Contact Us section.

If you are arranging a ringing tour, please go to the Visiting Ringers section

Please Note

Cathedral practices are from 7:30 – 9:15. Entry on a Thursday night is via the Gundulph Tower, which is on the North side of the Cathedral (the High Street side), just beyond the Deanery Gate. This access is locked from about 7:45 unless we know you are attending.

It is possible that some practices may be cancelled at the last minute so it is advisable to confirm that practices are taking place.

Please contact the Tower Captain  if you have any queries.
